Harry Bonk          Navy           Coram

Harry Bonk was born on April 16, 1926 at Coram, New York. He was the son of Paul and Louise (Kalenewz) Bonk. Before entering the service Bonk listed his occupation as that of a student.  Harry was inducted in the Navy on March 1, 1944, at Hanover, New Hampshire.  His home address was Coram, New York at the time of enlistment.  He trained as a Naval Aviation Cadet, and received a Good Conduct Medal.  Harry did not serve overseas and was discharged from the service on September 18, 1945 at Shelton, Virginia
